Following Up with Phone and E-mail
Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 2:53AM A lot of people make this more complex than it actually is. Phone game and e-mail game aren't that important if you do everything right the FIRST TIME, on the Day1 in the initial pick-up. You should remember that if you don't do things right the first time, you're really handicapping yourself when you run phone and e-mail game.
It's really difficult to give general guidlines for phone and e-mail game because it all depends on where you are in the sarge.
Did you qualify her before you #closed and ejected? How keen is she? If she's really keen then you can just set-up the meet.
The main thing is to keep them short. Generally, unless she's e-mailing you back immediately IM style, it's better to write stuff that doesn't require a response. Just like in regular comfort game, you should be seeding things and see how they take.
If she latches on to one of them then push for the meet.
If she e-mails me out of the blue, she may be sitting around bored in which case now might be a great time to set up the same day/night meet. Or if she's in your area, or an area you can feign to be in, you could meet up for a few minutes.
If she seems on the fence tell her you're on the way RIGHT NOW! You have to take these windows of opportunity.
The same goes for phone game really. There are way too many variables to have that many guidlines for phone and e-mail game. Just like any other point in the sarge, it all depends.
One thing you could do is play The Question Game over e-mail for example. It is generally effective to stick to DHV pings and use phone for progressing the sarge.
This is a super slippery topic because it's so huge, but what you need to remember is that phone and e-mail are just other communication mediums.
It's not about the medium IT'S ABOUT THE MESSAGE. What's the message? Once you know the message, you can choose the best medium and tweak it for that medium.
